What is FTP?
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is what allows you to transfer files from your computer (client) to your Web site (server).
Which folder should I place my files?
When you first log into your account through FTP you will see a directory called "htdocs". Move into the htdocs directory and you will see another directory that matches the name of your domain (www.yourdomain.com). Put the files for that domain in the directory called www.yourdomain.com.
NOTE: If you have more than one domain you will see each of them listed in the htdocs directory. Make sure you upload your files for that domain to the proper folder.
What is the path to Sendmail?
The path to Sendmail is /usr/sbin/sendmail
What is the path to my home directory?
The path to your home directory is /home/username
What is the absolute path to my domain?
The absolute path to your domain is /home/aurora/htdocs/www.yourdomain.com
Is there a limit to the number of pages I can have on my site?
No. Your Web site is limited by disc space, not the number of pages. Your site can literally contain thousands of pages.
Do you offer unlimited bandwidth?
No, we cannot offer unlimited bandwidth. If the bandwidth Aurora offers cannot fulfill your needs you may want to look into a dedicated server solution.
What happens if I go above my allotted traffic (bandwidth)?
You will be charged for the additional bandwidth usage. Please contact Aurora for the current bandwidth overage pricing.

Which platform do you use? Windows/Unix/Linux?
We are using FreeBSD. FreeBSD is an advanced operating system for x86 compatible, DEC Alpha, IA-64, PC-98 and UltraSPARC architectures. It is derived from BSD UNIX, the version of UNIX developed at the University of California, Berkeley.
I'm using Windows. Can I still use your service even though your servers are not Windows?
Of course you can. It does not matter what operating system you are running, you can still use our service.
Do you support JavaScript?
Yes. JavaScript support is dependent on the client browser, not the host.
